Placed over a garage door, next to the driveway, on the side of a home, or other area in need of enhanced security, this Heath/Zenith SL-7001-WH-C outdoor halogen light turns on when it senses motion for convenient operation when you're home or away. The light's sensor detects motion up to 70 feet and in a 180-degree range, and the detection zone can be adjusted as needed. The motion-activated security light will turn on for the preset amount of time of one to five minutes, and then will turn off automatically. For energy-efficient operation, its photocell technology keeps the light off during daylight hours. Even more, the light comes with a solar panel that uses energy from the sun during the day to charge the unit's rechargeable battery. Other highlights include an adjustable head, a convenient test mode, and durable metal construction for long-lasting performance from one season to the next. The motion-activated solar-powered security light uses a 15-watt halogen bulb (included) and measures 6-1/4 inches long by 8 inches wide by 12 inches high.
